Handbrake Cable Group Orders

Evening all,

Here are all the group order relevant posts from Steve handbrake cable thread. This has been provided to maintain the flow of the original thread whilst we all add our interest here for Rick @Rickmeister to selflessly supply us with what we desire.

I'll build the lists later on this evening. Of note, I'm here just conducting assistance as this is a Rick's and Ian's @in9999 venture. Rick is going to send the order to Ian, who will distribute to everyone here in the UK.

Whilst the registered interest is extracted to build the lists, I'll also try to tidy it up without ruining the flow of this new thread.

Hi Tom I’m not sure how to get on a list but I’d like 3 please (9 A2s to support!)
 
This is long thread now and its easy to jump to the end and not read how it's working so I'll quickly update as I have had some individual PMs about cables.

How it works: requests are compiled in this thread, not to me directly please. Thanks to all helping with the compilation and managing names.

What is happening: I ordered the first set of cables from AT and I'm waiting for them, eta probably, Monday. Once these arrive and are forwarded, monies reimbursed (€610 ish total), I'll order the next bundle from the list compiled here. I'll notify the next in line members to contact me as and when the first order is completed. No pm's please as to be fair, there are a few members in line on this one!

I'll repeat until everyone has what they want or Audi run out, whichever is first. At the moment, please just register interest here and we'll go a step at a time.

Afternoon all,

To assist the flow of this thread and its original topic, I'm considering moving the group order/list elements to a separate thread this evening. This will be a specific thread for the Group Order that Rick @Rickmeister and Ian @in9999 are sorting out for us.

It feels right to me as there is still great discussions on here regards repairs but seems to have digressed a little with the amount of interest in obtaining a new cable. Steve @A2Steve , its your thread so please do advise what you feel is best to do Sir.

Good idea Tom, pretty sure Rick @Rickmeister is getting fed up trying to work through his inbox full of messages that do not relate to order number one. Too many people ONLY read the last post and not all the posts above, not just in this case but on all threads. This causes confusion, covers old ground or plain goes off on a tangent.

Would also make sense provided @A2Steve agrees to strip out ALL posts that are not directly relating to his thread and place on the "new" thread. My post could just be deleted.
 
Evening all,

I have chosen to move all the group order relevant posts from this thread in order for it to continue as it was first intended.

I'll work through each post on this new thread throughout this evening and compose lists, fingers crossed AT have the stock to meet our overwhelming demand. Its still quite a busy but all should be a lot more clear later on.

Please do continue to add your names here and I'll sort out as the evening progresses.

Evening all,

Hopefully the moving of posts hasn't confused proceedings here, it was done with best intensions...

I've just been through the posts from each thread and I'm quite certain that I've now captured everyone within a list as published at Post #1 of this new thread. Please do check as its been a long day and week so could have possibly missed someone off. If anyone is missed then I apologise, just drop me a line and I'l rectify it.

Rick @Rickmeister the definitive lists to be used are those at Post #1 of this new thread, I'll maintain it for as long as AT can satisfy our demand. Keep in touch Sir.

Ian @in9999, I'll leave the PMs for addresses and P&P etcetera to you as you have already volunteered, thank you for stepping in to do this. Let me know if you need any assistance.

Thats all for now and lets see if we AT can satisfy our 5 lists.
