I think it’s down to individual choice, that’s why some people love the little alloy critter we all have, and some people like Corsa’s and Saxo’s
On the BMW front, I’ve now driven the 120 petrol BMW I’ve got as a courtesy car about 50 miles, and the list of things I detest about grows by the mile.
Handbrake lever hard to reach due to the massive centre arm rest is well up the list, as are the sports seats which give me backache after 20 miles, and don’t get me started on the nav system. Shiny interior trim which is angled just right to reflect lights from kerbside buildings causing massive distractions. The only plus I’ve found is the accelerator pedal, which is highly reminiscent of an original VW Beetle.
Kleynie presumably loves his BMW, but he probably had a decent test drive and liked what he experienced, and each to their own I say! Enjoy your car, Kleynie, but a BMW is definitely not for me.
