Yes mate. They aren't very glossy in the other photo because the car is very dirty.
 
Look nice but how's light output? A2s have never been blessed with the best headlights, but I can imagine that my old 6volt electrics Suzuki motorcycle had more light output! That was scary at night time - I remember one particularly awful journey from Rock City in Nottingham back to Manchester on the A6, which was unlit. I was always tagging onto the back of cars that overtook me in an effort to follow their tail lights!!

That doesn't sound good.

I run 6000k HIDs so the light output is more than bright enough.

Marvellous. Hope they're the R type burners if you're using them without projectors. You might want to consider switching to LED bulbs - there's some fantastic H7 units around now that have a much tighter LED placement, which means the light source is much closer to the position of the original halogen bulb, so you get much less glare from them, still with the same power and colour as HID.

Yes, they are H7R units. I've tried LEDs but the interference through the radio and general noise from them when on made me go back to HIDs.
 
This evening I cleaned all the trim from the breaker that’s going in Boxy for the double din dash conversion.. ??

Made some looms from the breaker for the rear electric windows. and fitted some H7 Xenon HID 6000k..
