Took my first picture with my new mobile phone.

Fell in love with my A2 All over again. The new silicone intercooler pipes have worked wonders. I didn't realise that the car had been down on power due to scrappy intercooler pipes. It's now back to wheel spinning when changing into 2nd which is far more like it.

Have changed my job so now my commute is 15 minutes down country lanes which this car is made for. Happy commuting now :)

Today I ... didn't have time to wait for the jewellers in town to fit the replacement leather watch strap they sold me. So I just took it home to do it myself.
But one of the strap pins came out in pieces

OK, so where does my A2 come into this?

Answer: when I recently changed my front seats over to the leather ones, I found a watch strap pin lurking around one of the drivers' seat rails, of all things. Thank heavens I didn't throw it away, as it was an exact match for length. The fun bit was trying to remember where I'd put it!

That's a definite bonus to add to the £2.27 the car has yielded up so far from various nooks and crannies (two old £1 coins though). Oh, and some flat but kinked spring thingy about two inches long that I haven't yet worked out the origin of.

Yes, quite possibly. Need to make my a little more subtle seeing as Sam's car is so modified. Got to have at least one car in the family that we can park anywhere without the fear of it getting nicked :)

Wait a minute!

If there's ever been a better excuse to sneak another A2 into your collection .....lol

Black on the inner wheel covers looks really good, wouldn't mind that on mine
Hi,

That is the MEGA spec one that Lord A bought from me last week. It has every possible extra, drives really well (even though it has done 170K miles) and no way does it look 17 years old!

It is a GREAT A2 and glad to see that others appreciate it too. The 18" wheels tend to be subtle but fill the arches so well. (and the chrome rings push out on the wheel centres and so the masking is easy to get the centres black (or even body colour?).
