... Well, yesterday, actually.

Replaced the intercooler on the Crystal Blue Car, with a Timmus intercooler. Did the Storm about a year ago, but still took me about 6 hours and boy was it warm! Getting those wheel arch liners out and back in really does my head in. Replaced some of the hoses will blue silicone ones too.

A few pictures:

Getting to the heart of the problem. Front off and offending article visible.

Replacement pressure sensor to suit new intercooler with later, smaller connection, alongside older larger version.

All done. Wheels to refit and road test.

Phew bit of a long and mucky job, but all done!

I see you’ve been busy with the alloys Nat... looking moody.

Yeh I’ve had them refurbed Darren.... I really like the look of them but photos don’t do them justice has they are a high gloss anthracite and not totally finished yer as I have ordered new genuine centre caps and wheel nut covers.... you’ll see the finished job at the end of the month

Looking forward to it mate.

Watch out for flood water this time... no more knuckle grazing removing the front splitter this time please... ;):D

Had the dreaded coil warning light come on - quick read on this fantastic forum......and upon checking no rear brake lights! So replaced the brake light switch which was a fiddly old job but all good now.

I replaced my 4 spoke wheel with a TT mk 1 today, I now have an airbag light on! I’ve checked and the connections are all ok anyone have any ideas, could it be a faulty unit perhaps?

TIA

Have you tried resetting the airbag warning light ? does it come back on immediately ?
TIA

No I haven’t do I need VCDS to do that? My generic code reader obviously hasn’t picked anything up, but for £10 I wouldn’t expect it to
