Today I.....

And now the ride is transformed by going from 17" to 15" (this was mainly down to the poor state of the cheap tyres the car came with). The Longbeach alloys work for me. Courtesy of ebay and a guy who was selling his Golf Mk3 GTi wheels.

They look good
And the 15” rims make the ride sssssoooooooooo much better

I'm about to do an oil change again, and change "oil pressure sensor" to sort the on-off "red oil warning" and want to make sure engine as clear inside as possible.
How safe is it to use Wynny's Engine flush on A2s 1.4 150k engine? Cheers

Not as safe as just changing the oil for a high quality, detergent-rich synthetic and then changing it again early, once it has gone totally black!

What could happen to the engine? Could it actually harm the parts? I've already changed it few months ago but gone black a week later.

Polished my A2 today. Next thing to do is to buy the original hub caps and replace the plastic sills that had their share of sand blaster from the wheels. Cleaned the interior a few days ago but they need a more thoroughly cleaning to get rid of all the stains.

Also need to find a Concert stereo so that I can replace the aftermarket Pioneer stereo. The previous owner want to have it back since he said it was very valuable ?

Yep Concert, new caps and perhaps a new driver seat and it really will be mint. Just a thought have you tried getting a replacement drivers seat from here. After all your drivers seat is our passenger seat and usually not as worn.

That’s true but the cost to send a seat to Sweden would probably be very expensive. I think the seats in the 3L is of a different type compared to the normal A2.

That is true, was thinking more just a seat base. Can't see the bolster so unsure of its condition. I would have thought that IF Tom @timmus was on his foreign travels and in the area he MAY be able to bring it to you. Sorry Tom @timmus not trying to volunteer you for anything.

If you are looking for one then why not place a wanted ad. If you haven't already you need to upgrade your account to view and post on Marketplace.
Click on your "name" then Account Upgrades and follow the instructions to pay the one off fee. Just explain in the ad exactly what part you need and state left seat drivers adding its a LHD vehicle, colour, pattern and required condition. There may be something available here if not perhaps Germany.

Yes I could do so. But before I do it I would like to do a more thoroughly cleaning with the Kärcher Puzzy that I used on my other A2 with a good result.
