Today (well last night!) I had an ‘incident’ with a badger…

Now looking for a replacement lower grille and engine undertray as it’s dragging on the road ?

Good opportunity to replace the number plate surround with an A2OC one I guess ?
 
Today I started the recolouring or the auto dimming Mirror I recently purchased from @Mbzpar

After masking it up the spraying commenced……

Which part was this ? Is it the full engine undertray in which case that’s really reasonably priced .

Yes I believe so.....part 8Z0 825 325 E - this is for petrol models (diesel might be priced different)
 
Single coat and looking good ?
Wow, this Volico paint is something isn’t it? From a single coat it would take eyes better than mine to spot this wasn’t twist originally. So pleased

Resolved the power steering issue on this and test fitted the wheels

All with the help from my mate George.

We’ve also decided that one of the A2’s that has FSI issues is now going to be a parts mule for the other 3, should help control costs and continue the life of the others!

Tomorrow is 2 interior swaps, bumper swaps and adhesive removing from the car the kit removed from

Can not remember the part number but they were complete led replacement units. The ones I used had the dual wiring sockets i.e. the large socket as the original fitted on the A2 and also the smaller socket. the smaller socket was utilised to wire in the second light on the offside.
