Adding to
@Erlingtheyounger's sound advice above. All the bolts for the front seats need an M8 XZN (triple square) spline bit,
not a Torx. Access to the front bolts is greatly enhanced if you unclip the front carpets from their studs on the aluminium floor and bend them up out of the way. Regarding the plastic covers over the rear ends of the seat runners, the inside ones simply slide off backwards, but the outside ones have a little plastic pin on the underside that you have to lever out first - a flat screwdriver under the lip does the trick. The wiring for the airbag connection would have been attached to the frame under the seat at the factory: the cable tie around the wire can usually be encouraged out of the hole it clips into rather than having to cut the cable tie.
