Yes, seats and everything out today, the rear carpet must weigh 50lbs with all the water in it. The car is essentially dry now, CCU was a mess which cleaned up, rear speaker amp was a mess, also cleaned up, same for all the relays and the rear antenna thing in the boot. There may have been some water in the cylinders, but there certainly was in the air filter, possibly intercooler and exhaust after sitting in so much water for so long. I removed the glow plugs, span it over and some water sprayed out. The glow plugs are now back, everything is reconnected, the CCU appears to have survivied as I think everything is behaving as it should, but it won't start. Glow plugs don't heat up and no fuel arriving. VCDS won't talk to the ECU (although a Bluetooth ODBII adapter does get power) and I have proven that my VCDS works on another A2, so it looks like the ECU has gone to meet it's maker. If that is my only problem I think I've had a lucky escape ... Just need to find an ECU.
